Klarälvens Camping: Wilderness Adventures
We are a campsite located right on the banks of the Klarälven River. Here, you stay with nature as your closest neighbor and have excellent opportunities for excursions both on foot and on the water. Whether you’re looking for peace and quiet or adventure, everything is just around the corner. Choose between a motorhome, caravan, cabin, or tent. Light a fire by the river, go fishing, enjoy the sauna, and take a refreshing dip in the clear waters of the Klarälven.

It’s easy to unwind here and make the most of your time off. If you’d rather stay active, there are plenty of fun and exciting adventures with the campsite as your starting point.
Build your own timber raft and drift along the mighty Klarälven River, join our guide on a beaver safari during the bright summer evening, or go canoeing and stop at an island for a coffee break and a swim.
You can also hike through nature reserves or along impressive waterfalls. The campsite also features a small playground and a large jumping pillow, enjoyed by both kids and adults alike.
Accommodations
MOTHORHOMES & CARAVANS
The site offers 40 pitches with electricity. You can choose whether you’d like to stay close to the river or nearer to the service building. The area is easy to navigate and maneuver.
TENT
A large grassy field provides space for around 30 tents. From here, it’s equally close to the swimming area and fire pits as it is to the service building and playground.
STANDARD CABIN – 4 BEDS
Two small bedrooms with bunk beds. A shared living area with table and benches, kitchenette with hot plates, refrigerator, sink, microwave, kitchen equipment and more. Bathroom with shower and toilet.
BUDGET CABIN – 4 BEDS
A cozy log cabin with two bunk beds, a table with stools, refrigerator, single hot plate, and kitchen equipment for 4 people. There is no running water in the cabin.

Unfortunately, there are no charging stations at Klarälvens Camping. You can charge your car about 300 metres from the campsite at the E45/62 junction.

Unfortunately, Klarälvens Camping does not have a restaurant, but coffee and ice cream are available for purchase. About 300 metres from the campsite you’ll find Mac45, a petrol station offering à la carte dishes and lunch specials. Feel free to ask us at reception for additional restaurant and café recommendations nearby.
No, but you can rent bed linen from us or bring your own. Duvets and pillows are provided in the cabins. (Overnight stays without bed linen or in personal sleeping bags are not allowed. Sleeping bags are permitted in budget cabins.)
Klarälvens Camping is located directly on the banks of the Klarälven River, perfect for refreshing swims in clear water. On site, you’ll find a sauna available for rent, a playground, and plenty of space for games and outdoor activities. When reception is open, you also have access to the common room with a TV, tables, and chairs. There are several fire pits on the site—feel free to ask us to borrow a grill. Fishing is possible in the Klarälven River or in the lake right next to the campsite (put-and-take).
Please note: A fishing licence is required.
Of course, you can also book one of our activities, subject to availability. Ask at reception about timber raft trips, canoe tours, or a beaver safari.
No, but cleaning is not included in the base price. It can be added no later than the day before departure. If you choose to clean the cabin yourself, instructions outlining our cleaning expectations are provided. Cleaning equipment is available in the cabin.
Check-in is from 3:00 PM, unless otherwise agreed. If you are camping, you are welcome to arrive earlier to park your vehicle or pitch your tent, and check in once reception opens. On departure day, please return the key by 11:00 AM at the latest.
Yes, dogs are welcome at Klarälvens Camping. Dogs must be kept on a leash on the site, and consideration must be shown to other guests and staff.
